New series: the guide to eccentricity

This will be my new guide on how to be eccentric. It will be of great help to alienate yourself from a group and make smartasses feel dumb. My first paragraph of awesome is gonna be today!

When you lose something and then find it, keep looking, this will teach people to not say "it's always in the last place you look." Draw any kind of doodle or little pointless scribble and then contact high profile art dealers and try to sell them. Stand behid people and yell peekaboo! When they turn to look, turn back as well to imply it was someone behind you. Wear hoodies, everywhere, even the pool. Occasionally, offer your services as a hitman to passersby. Never ever go out into direct sunlight before doing a little spin on your heel, if asked, claim it reverses the effects of uv rays from cancer to cookies. And finally, whenever your friends are over, tell them to waitin one room, and then watch them from another room, the hilarity will roll.

End of Days (at challenge)

We've come a long way
For this final day
Just thinking,
That first line was such a Cliché.
But past speeches and fairs,
Exploratory projects,
Mock proms and worrying about your hair,
We come out as friends, no horror in that.
Fore we have come this long way and simply ask,
Will you remember us?

A moral dilemma

What is it coming to? This place we call safe has not proven itself to be.
This action performed by one has shaken four others and thrown us off for the rest of the year.
Where is this person now? What are they doing? Are they in okay?
My head is filled with these questions.
My mind races for and answer so I don't look like an ass.
It's better to tell, no, don't betray them.
You're safe here, no there's a pair of scissors in the room, and it's cutting some flesh.
You can trust the environment, no there's blood and it's fresh.
How do you feel, I don't know.

Grey

A grey cloud hangs over your head.
A grey scarf flaps in the wind where the little girl used to be.
A grey goose is sipped sullenly by a broken man.
A dirty grey bandage covers her broken hand.
A grey fleck mars the quality of his work.
In the shadows grey things lurk.
Eyes unblinking,
Claws unfiled,
Fangs unclean,
Bodies unpleasant,
Foul stench of their unholy existence messing with you
Getting in your head
Nagging you
Keeping you awake at night.
Until you realize, the negative opinion is giving by the person with the negative view of themselves.

Male speaker 1

As one of you may know I was doing the optimist speech thingamaboblodiglat, and I had a very... Different speech. So guess what, I won. Over someone from our school and this dude mike. Another girl from our school won too, kodename vic. So I get a hundred bucks and a nice medal, and more chances for more money, so yay.
I went tubing the other day and decided once to go face-first on my stomach, down a giant icehill. I was flying down, it was amazing. Down and faster I went and I realized my dad was going to be in the way. So he moved just ever so quickly and saved some serious injury. The sad thing is that there was his tube behind him so I collided with that instead and went flying twenty feet rolling in a flurry of yells and joy. I got up and three my Arms in the air in celebration. Good day.

New horror-themed dark poetry

Opening the box.

I place my hands on it's golden lid
The cries of my friends came from behind
They say stop but persist I did
It came off the box wiith a slight grating
A horrible ungodly sound
Roaring in our ears, the grey had truly come
And out came a creature with form so profound
It's eyes black as coals stared with contempt
And denied us even the thought of an attempt
It's horrible maw gaped in our faces
And it's scars showed it had been many places
The hands came around from it's head and opened up wide
They were so big, children could hide inside
They creeped down, ever closer still
And it screeched a sound terribly shrill
The fingers like blackened sausages with claws came around my throat
And when I looked to the box, not even hope was left to gloat
All was lost for me you see, until something happened
I stopped fearing it
